- Designers – most of the time when you’re buying a wedding dress, your paying not only for the dress itself but also for the designer name that is on the tag. We completely understand this, that is why at Elite Dress we carry a variety of designers that work for every kind of wedding dress budget! Nicole Spose who’s dresses are between $2,250 to $4,500, is one of our more pricier designers. While La Petra and Ricca Sposa’s gowns are between $1,250 to $3,000, which are more adorable and tres chic! If you still aren’t liking those prices, here at Elite Dress Bridal we also have a small selection of wedding dress that have been marked down. Those start at $600 and range up to 1,050$! - Fabrics and Material – Of course quality of the material plays a big role in the pricing of a gown. A fabric constructed of synthetic fibers is generally less expensive than one made of real silk. Same thing with an intricate lace design which will generally be more expensive than a fabric like tulle. Some gowns also have lace in which the lace isn’t sewn on, instead it is glued on using a specail adhesive. This also pays into the cost of a wedding dress.
- Labor costs – It takes a lot of time to make a wedding dress! Gowns that are made in factories by a machine are less expensive than gowns are are made by hand. Intricate beading or embroidery done by hand will cost a great deal more because of the time a detail that went into the work.
Although Your wedding dress may seem expensive to you for what it’s not — but look closer and you’ll likely find out that the material is top notch, the seams lay perfectly flat, and it drapes just so flawlessly!
