There is no such thing as a universal body type, most wedding gowns require alterations to fit prefect to you on your wedding day. With your convenience in mind, we offer in-house alterations by our expert seamstress for all your special occasions! Our seamstress has years of experience with wedding dresses, prom dresses and evening dresses. We can take care of any minor mending, complete wedding gown resizing, and even modifying the style of a dress. At Elite Dress Bridal we meet all your needs from start to finish!

Alteration services at Elite Dress Bridal go beyond just wedding dresses, we can alter anything from suit tailoring, jeans hemming, shirt fitting, along with many other everyday wear items to formal attire. We also alter bridesmaids’ dresses, mother of the bride, and flower girl dresses to ensure an excellent fit for the entire party!

Typically, we begin alterations once the dress arrives and you come in for your first fitting. At your first fitting appointment our seamstress will begin pinning your gown to fit your unique shape and marking any adjustments you may want. Your second appointment will take place about two weeks after your first appointment, and if there are no further alterations needed, you can take the dress home! However, if further alterations are necessary, we will book you for a third fitting to ensure your dress is perfect.

Note: it is very important to bring the exact shoes and undergarments you plan on wearing on your wedding day to every appointment. Precise fit cannot be guaranteed without them! Please note that we will charge a rush fee for any gown that is brought in under 3 weeks.
